Cancellation Policy

FAMI revamped its Cancellation Policy in 2018 to encourage those who need to cancel to do so with more notice. This will allow FAMI to more effectively use the Wait List and maximize the number of people able to attend.

For the purpose of calculating the cancellation time frames below, the “event start” is deemed to be 5:00 pm MDT on the first day of the event.

For Instructional Camps

  • For cancellations received up to 21 days prior to event start there will be a $35.00 administrative fee deducted from the refund.
  • For cancellations received 8 – 20 days prior to event start there will be a $75.00 administrative fee deducted from the refund.
  • For cancellations received less than 7 days prior to event start there will be No Refund.

For Bursary Applicants:

  • For cancellations received up to 7 days prior to event start there will be a $10.00 administrative fee deducted from the refund.
  • For cancellations received less than 7 days prior to event start there will be No Refund.

Requests for cancellations / refunds are to be made to the Registrar

For Jam Camp

  • For cancellations received up to 14 days prior to event start there will be a $25.00 administrative fee deducted from the refund.
  • For cancellations received 8 – 13 days prior to event start there will be a $50.00 administrative fee deducted from the refund.
  • For cancellations received less than 7 days prior to event start there will be No Refund.

For Bursary Applicants:

  • For cancellations received up to 7 days prior to event start there will be a $10.00 administrative fee deducted from the refund.
  • For cancellations received less than 7 days prior to event start there will be No Refund.
