Fall Jam Camp

Fall Jam Camp

September 23 - 25, 2022

The new Online Registration System has undergone rigorous testing and a few quirks were discovered with the system.

Registration is ONLINE ONLY and opens at 9:00 am MDT – Saturday August 13, 2022

Registration is now CLOSED

FAMI will be following its standard, shared accommodation process of 2 to 4 people per room based on room size (please see the bottom of the page for additional info on roommates).   No proof of COVID vaccination is required by FAMI or our host camp facility to attend the FAMI Jam Camp.  At the time of registration on August 13, wearing face masks is not required. Masks are welcomed and will be respected should someone choose to wear one.  We recognize COVID guidelines/protocols from Alberta Health Services and our host camp facility may change from the time of registration to when the FAMI Jam Camp is held on September 23-25.  FAMI is committed to honouring changes if they occur.

Please find below a waiver that each camp attendee must accept and agree to as part of their registration process:

By virtue of registering for & attending this camp, you acknowledge and agree to:

I agree that by participating in the Foothills Acoustic Music Institute (FAMI) Jam camp, I am voluntarily assuming all risks related to COVID-19, including exposure to and contracting of COVID-19.  I agree that I shall not hold FAMI, its volunteer directors and any persons contracted by the organization, the host camp facility, FAMI registrants and volunteers, or any other persons liable for any damages, loss, risk or injury related to COVID-19, including exposure to or the contracting of COVID-19.

I am aware that failure to comply with the event’s COVID-19 policies and/or other safety protocols and those of the host camp facility, Alberta Health Services, or any other party imparting such rules will result in a warning and/or removal from the event at the discretion of event organizers. Refunds will not be issued if removed from the event for failure to comply with COVID-19 safety protocols.

$225.00 – includes meals, accommodation,  and use of facilities

Financial assistance is available to qualifying individuals via the FAMI Bursary

There is a lot of camping space available, and we encourage people to bring their own campers.

Bunk accommodation details (number of people in the rooms) will depend on registration numbers.

  • For cancellations received up to 14 days prior to event start there will be a $25.00 administrative fee deducted from the refund.
  • For cancellations received 8 - 13 days prior to event start there will be a $50.00 administrative fee deducted from the refund.
  • For cancellations received less than 7 days prior to event start there will be No Refund.

However, as a special provision for COVID situations, cancellations due to COVID illness will be refunded in full.
